BACKPACK DRIVE ENDS SUNDAY
During the past few weeks, Calvary's Middle School Ministries has collected backpacks and school supplies for students at Capri Elementary School who could not otherwise afford them. You can still help! Drop off donations at the church office or Sunday morning in the Worship Center lobby. Students will be assembling them during the 10:45am Worship Service.

TWO:6 Disciple - living as Jesus did

In all of my years of ministry, nothing has been more challenging and rewarding than following Jesus. I believe it's possible for our entire church to grow spiritually into Two:6 Disciples - living as Jesus did. In fact, this fall we will be launching catalytic workshops tailored to different stages of spiritual growth. One of these three workshops, "Become" launches September 8th. I want to personally ask you to consider joining me as I lead and teach our BECOME workshop. Together we will explore the fundamental beliefs of the Christian faith, looking specifically at how they inform your spiritual growth. You will also learn a little more about Calvary and the ways I hope you will invest here. From the BECOME workshop you will be invited to continue learning through 6 small group sessions. You will be pointed to some great resources including personal spiritual disciplines and an opportunity to meet with a spiritual coach. Space is limited - we're keeping these workshops small and intimate. Please sign up at the Connecting Point in the lobby Sundays on Sundays.
I look forward to connecting with you in this unique context. May God continue to grow you into a Two:6 Disciple, where your life looks more and more like Jesus.
