WHERE DO EXPLORE GROUPS MEET?

Explore Groups meet around our community in homes and in coffee shops. We do offer one Explore Group on campus on Tuesday nights from 7-8:30pm in room D-112 (first floor of the FLC building. Door opens to the parking lot)

Part I  –  March 2 – April 13
Who Is Jesus?  Why Did Jesus Die?  How Can We Have Faith? Why and How Do I Pray? Why and How Should I Read the Bible?  How Does God Guide Us?

Part 2  -  April 20 – June 8
Who Is the Holy Spirit and What Does He Do?   How Can I Resist Evil?   Why and How Should We Tell Others?   Does God Heal Today? What About the Church?   How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?

WHAT ARE EXPLORE GROUPS?
Explore Groups are spiritual discussion groups designed to give people who have not met Jesus or are new to their faith a comfortable place to ask questions.

WHY DO WE NEED EXPLORE GROUPS?
Many people today aren't interested in church or the Bible, but they are interested in spirituality. Explore groups provide them with an opportunity to meet with others and openly discuss spiritual topics.

HOW LONG DOES AN EXPLORE GROUP MEET?
Initially, individuals who want to explore their faith meet for 1 to 1-1/2 hours weekly for six-weeks. After that time, the group can decide to continue meeting for another six weeks.

WHAT DO EXPLORE GROUPS TALK ABOUT?
Groups discuss questions they have about spiritual things or choose a book of the Bible. Both use discussion guides.

WHAT ARE SOME QUESTIONS INCLUDED IN THE GUIDE?
How does anyone know that God exists? How could God allow suffering? Don't all religions lead to God? What difference does Jesus make? How reliable is the Bible? Do science and the Bible conflict? Why become a Christian?
