Prayer Ministry

As a biblically based church, Calvary sees prayer as an important aspect to the spiritual life our church. It is an active part of our worship services. children's and sports ministry; and all of our Adult Congregation classes. Through prayer we lift up personal needs, the needs of our members, missionaries and community.

“With all prayer and petition pray all the times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.” –Ephesians 6:18

It is through prayer that we experience our Lord’s presence, peace and ability; and helps us to grow in our understanding and intimacy with Him.

“With prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make you request known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all human understand, will protect your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” – Phil. 4: 6-7

We find that prayer is the key to knowing God in a very deep and meaningful way. It is the most powerful way we have to talk to God. It can aid us in our overall spiritual health; and is our greatest defense against the afflictions that confront us daily. We pray that the Lord would give you encouragement , as you make your way through your spiritual journey. We also invite you to join us for our Sunday Worship, or any of the youth or adult ministries here at Calvary. We also have an excellent children’s program.
